The Studio
Liezl Müller
Liezl is a creative visionary with deep expertise in custom home design and residential construction.
With over six years of hands-on experience working alongside a custom home builder, she brings a holistic, highly practical approach to every project—seamlessly blending form, function, and buildability to create homes that elevate everyday living.
Known for her clarity, attention to detail, and calm leadership throughout complex projects, Liezl guides clients from early planning through final selections, ensuring design intent is translated into thoughtful, executable decisions.
Her passion for interiors, refined details, and new construction informs every space she creates.
Originally from South Africa, and shaped by time living in Switzerland, Liezl brings a global perspective to architecture and design.
She now calls Charlotte home, where she lives with her husband, two sons, their French bulldog and Bengal cat.
Cara Camille Watt
Cara brings a bold, confident perspective to interior design, informed by strong architectural lines and expressive design choices. With experience collaborating across design and build teams, she creates spaces that are both visually striking and purpose-driven.
Grounded in thoughtful planning and a fearless approach to color, texture, and form, Cara is known for designs that feel intentional, distinctive, and expertly executed.
With a deep appreciation for architecture and statement-making interiors, Cara approaches each project with clarity and conviction—balancing creativity with structure to ensure design intent translates seamlessly into the built environment.
Originally from South Africa, Cara’s global perspective informs her design sensibility, blending architectural rigor with expressive creativity.
Now based in Florida, she draws inspiration from the region’s light, landscape, and architectural diversity, and lives with her husband and their two English bulldogs.
